DESCRIPTION
The workshop aims to map the relationship between LLs and society, divided by different stakeholder types and to define must capabilities, tools and methods for Living Labs to manage these relationships that will result in a high impact societal solutions guidebook structure.
Agenda
- Awareness Creation on Inclusive Societal Engagement. (Wshop owner-10 min)
- Presentation about Societal Challenges and Engagement models
- Good and bad examples in societal engagement
- Agreement on Wshop Outputs (Interactive session) – All participants (10 min)
To discuss the outputs expected and fine tune the expectations.
- Workshop & Providing Wshop Tool – 4-5 people per group (45 min total)
We will provide a canvas with questions to be discussed and written down.
- Session I – SWOT for Living Labs in enabling Societal Engagement (20 min)
- Session II – Capabilities, Tools, Environments, Processes and Governance mechanisms for LLs to play an effective role in societal engagement (25 min)
- Consolidating Results (total 15 min)
Group output presentations (5 min) and discussing the Main Highlights for the Guidebook Framework (10 min)

Ömer Onur
MANAGING DIRECTOR BAŞAKŞEHİR LIVING LABÖmer is currently the MD of Başakşehir Living Lab and has been running Başakşehir Innovation & Technology Center (Basaksehir Living-Lab) focused in development of innovative producsts and services as well as supporting enterprenuers and startupssince 2012. He is also the Project Coordinator of Başakşehir Municipality for H2020 and Horizon Europe projects. Ömer has also been a trainer in ENoLL Learning Lab sessions on various topics since 2020. Other than Başakşehir Living Lab, Ömer is an Angel Investor and as of February 2024 he is the Chairperson of the Angel Effect Pty Co which is an Angel Investment Fund based in İstanbul with 25 shareholders. He is an expert in Project Management and Organizational Development. Ömer has more than 30 years of corporate experience from Ford Motor Company, Ericsson and Turkcell Communications at various management roles in the areas of Organizational Development, Quality, IT, Strategy and Project Management. Ömer has a B.Sc in Production/Industrial Engineering from Aston University, UK and an MBA degree from Graduate School of Management, Melbourne University. Since 2020. Ömer is advisory board member of Bodrum Living Lab.

Project Coordinator at Başakşehir Living LabHakkı Can TUNÇSAV graduated from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Metallurgy and Materials in 1998. Sales, field marketing, channel marketing, etc. in companies operating in the field of telecommunications such as Ericsson, Sony Ericsson and Smile Holding. He has served as a manager on issues. He joined the Başakşehir Living Lab Project team in 2012. He currently serves as the Coordinator within the scope of the Başakşehir Living Lab project. He has involved in several project including EU projects such as UNaLab, Metabuilding Labs and Multigination.
